As Village Resorts Hospitality Group, LLC, continues to field comments, questions, and concerns regarding the operations of Village Resorts Hospitality Group, LLC, and properties owned and managed by Village Resorts Hospitality Group, LLC, the purpose of Our communication is to establish an open dialogue with the hopes of further clarifying the usage, intent, and operations of Urban Ground Resort & Residence and Village Resorts Hospitality Group, LLC, and the Company's owned, managed, and operated thereof.
On October 7, 2008, the National Institutes of Health published "Are Gay Communities Dying or Just in Transition? Results from an International Consultation Examining Structural Change in Gay Communities," citing "In all Cities, the virtual gay community was identified as now larger than the offline physical community. Most cities identified that while the gay population in their cities appeared stable or growing, the gay community appeared in decline. Measures included greater integration of heterosexuals into historically gay-identified neighborhoods and movement of gay persons into suburbs, decreased number of gay bars and clubs, less attendance at gay events, less volunteerism in gay or AIDS organizations, and overall identification and visibility as a gay community."

Despite Our attempts to dispel rumors, we continue to field comments, questions, and concerns regarding Urban Ground Resort & Residence about its location, demographics, and operations.
Regarding Urban Ground Resort & Residence, Urban Ground Resort & Residence began as Urban Ground Bar & Grill, and the idea for Urban Ground Bar & Grill were to fill a necessary void in the Los Angeles black gay urban market aimed at gay black men as beginning sometime in 2012 many of the Los Angeles area gay establishments that catered to black gay men were closed for various reasons. Now, Urban Ground Resort & Residence has grown into the ultimate gay experience and has become a dual-purpose, commercial gay resort and private gay residential property, offering an authentic Vegas-style resort atmosphere, providing a full-service, fully inclusive, luxury gay resort and private gay residence offering the amenities, services, and attractions of a premier resort destination.
With respect to the operations of Urban Ground Resort & Residence, Urban Ground Resort & Residence is a proposed and planned brick-and-mortar property which is described as a physical presence of an organization or business in a building or other structure and We can confirm that the properties owned and managed by Village Resorts Hospitality Group, LLC, to include Urban Ground Resort & Residence were never imagined, idealized, planned, nor set to operate as virtual properties across the web as Village Resorts Hospitality Group, LLC, is a brick and mortar Company who designs, develops, and manages brick and mortar hospitality properties that emphasize our high-quality standards resulting in properties that are stylish, upbeat, playful, and modern and at no time do we intend, nor do we consider, we will ever operate Urban Ground Resort & Residence as a pop up, virtual, online, or augmented reality gay resort or private gay community.
As previously stated Urban Ground Resort & Residence were first developed with an intended purpose as stigma and discrimination may lead to negative attitudes toward gay, bisexual, and other men who maintain relationships with other men and have sex with men and these attitudes can lead to rejection by friends and family, discriminatory acts and violence, and laws and policies with negative consequences, and while homophobia, stigma, and discrimination can be especially hard for black men who are gay and bisexual who maintain relationships with men and have sex with men, these negative attitudes can increase their chances of experiencing violence which can include behaviors such as bullying, teasing, harassment, physical assault, and suicide-related behaviors. Urban Ground Resort, LLC, has carefully curated an environment that favors social recreation, stimulation, and social activity as we champion an environment free of fear and oppression.
Without further ado, Village Resorts Hospitality Group, LLC, to include the properties and companies we manage, own, and operate to include Urban Ground Resort & Residence, are not virtual properties across the web and Urban Ground Resort & Residence will open and debut as a physical gay community and resort.
